1996 60 hp 2-stroke Bigfoot conversion

Hi Guys
I have a regular 1996 60 ELPTO that I would like to convert to a Bigfoot.
If I buy a 60 bigfoot gearcase, will it fit on my motor ?
Is the bolt pattern, driveshaft and shift linkage the same ?

I did not understand your reply.
The bigfoot lower unit is made by Mercury. I could ask Mercury if their bigfoot lower unit will fit on a standard 60hp motor, but I was hoping that some knowlegeble person on this forum could tell me
