DF6 - Engine stalled - discovered water in the tank

Hello I have an 07 DF6 motor.

The motor has always run well right up untill the other night when it sputtered and stalled.

I couldn't get it going again so brought it home and hung it on the bench. I was suprised to find a huge amount water in the tank and fuel lines after I had a chance to look further.

I drained the the tank, took off most of the fuel lines drained all of the water and then flushed the lines with fresh gas.

Put everything back together and I get nothing!!! Not even a sputter.

Any ideas???

Am I going to have to get into it further and take off the carb???

I have a fresh spark plug in but can't find the correct gap setting if someone could help with that too that would be great.

Thanks for your thoughts!

need a spark check, comp check, if comp low check valves,
you can do a google search for your spark plug gap.
get a manual and go to the trouble shooting section.

Had a chance to look at things further last night.

I really wanted to avoid pulling the carburator off. I wasn't sure if the lower screw was for tuning one of the jets but it made more snes that it would be for draining the bowl so I pulled that screw out was able to drain the last of the water and got the engibe running.

I still can't find a spark gap anywhere though. Most of my searches get me info on suzuki motor cycles. Does anyone have a manual for their DF6 that could pass along the correct gap setting?
