I just replaced my amplifier with an after Sierra. I have seen on several posts that it is procedure to disconnect the old clipper box. I have spoken to a nearby mariner and they said if directions don't say to disconnect it; then don't disconnect. Again, this a Sierra amplifier not an OMC by Johnson. Does someone out there have the answer?
Also, have seen info about a "jumper" from amp to clipper. Don't want to fry out a $300.00 amp.
