Upgrading a Yamaha 1998 50hp power trim/tilt from 84 to 88 , wiring HELP

I have purchased a 1988 complete Yamaha pro 50 motor (less power head and lower unit) and want to transfer my power head and lower unit( Yamaha 50) because the Pro 50 has a much larger power trim/tilt unit. Mating the wiring ans relays do not appear easy... any help ? Thanks
