Re Assemble of Leg on 1978 Mariner 55 hp

Hi , does anyone out there know the correct way the two piece of Teflon go into the top and bottom half of the leg off a 1978 Mariner 55 / 60 when re assembling it. Or would anyone just have the page or diagram of re assembly please.

The diagram doesn't show it well but it looks like the top one goes in with the flat side down, and the narrow edge toward the driveshaft. It's hard to pick the shape of the lower one. I hope I have the right pieces. In the exhaust port at the top of the lower leg??

Yes one goes into the leg ( Flat Side ) and the other I think goes on the gear selector again I think not real sure as my motor didnt have them and the motor I bought for the leg did have them

Its all good once I place the leg up to the trunk it all fell into place
