1986 180 Ebbtide

I have a 180 Riviera with a 3.0 MerCruiser that I mistakingly connected the battery wrong with Pos to Neg and Neg to Pos. I cranked it and it arced and now it doesn't do anything what should I do Where should I start?:confused:

Check the main power circuit breaker on the engine. You may have fried the starter and alternator along w/any electronics that came on when you turned the key.
