1998 mercury outboard 60hp

hi, have a 60hp mercury two stroke, as soon as a turn key to power up the alarm goes off and keeps going off, it will start right up and run, shift, spit water great. any idea what can me making this alarm go off constantly?
 
You have a bad sensor.

If it's a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep then the temperature sensor is toast.

If you have oil injection and you get a beep, beep, beep, it's either the float sensor in the tank or the oil alarm module that's toast.
