Alrighty, to start, my overheat/idiotlight/rev limiter was on and would not turn off last time i used the boat. there was only a dribble of water coming out the tail of the motor, usually a pretty strong stream. wondering if there is any way i can backflush it to get any sort of obstruction out, whether the impeller on the water pump may be bad(replaceable contingent on whether flushing works or not) and how to do both of those things (backflushing/replacing impeller)
before that, the motor wouldn't spool up very quick at all when trying to get up on plane. throttle response sucks. assuming i can seafoam it and get everything all cleaned out, just wondering if there was anything else to check to see if was causing it. thanks in advance for any help.
