i have a 1983 mercury 70 hp 3cly two carb, so i was think that i had maybe fould plugs cause i was having problems with hard starting i thought going to hotter plug it might help i just putt around anyway, well anyway i put the new plugs in will notfire put the old stock plugs back in and can get it to start just takes a minute and running it in the drive way the bottom cyl plug seems colder than the top two im thinking its a week coil, i was wondering it there a certain gap thos plugs should jump or i have a multi meter could i somehow test the stator, trigger , coil. any ideas, some help would be great thanks
