Bravo-1 Trim Pump Motor Replacement 2004 496

In terms of taking the old motor off, and replacing with the new one:

Boat is a 2004 twin 496HO setup. One of the OD trim pump motors is toast. I am picking up the replacement motor PN 891736T this afternoon from Land & Sea. The old one I took all the screws out from the adapter, pump and bowl, but the motor doesn't seem to want to seperate itself from them. I didn't force the issue in terms of prying etc. Didn't want to damage the housing or something I wasn't taking into account yet to be loosened or undone. It just seems to be sort of hanging up somehow.

Is ther something else besides those four screws at the base of the motor housing I need to do? Or no I just need to go ahead and gingerly pry around the motor base until it frees itself up and away from the base adapter/pump?

I return to see any answers later once I'm home ready to dive into it.

Re: Bravo-1 Trim Pump Motor Replacement

Only 2 bolts hold the motor to the base, 4 screws hold the motor together.4 screws hold the plastis res. container
