I'm going to have to rebuild both 318's in my '76 Penn Yan. Where are the best prices for:
1. Long blocks-The boat will be in FL so I figure I'd use Rapido Marine
2. Manifolds-This setup has risers, logs and 30 degree outlets.
3. Both starters-Swiped from my storage unit.
4. Velvet drive parts-They have been sitting a long time and need rebuilt.

i just went through this on one of mine this winter. I found I could reuse most of the parts but for the parts i needed i ordered them from partman.com . They have every part you need for a rebuild. I got a long block from Rapidomarine.com out of FL. They shipped it to me in NJ. they were the best price on the web and i haven't had any issues with the motor so far. I have never touched the Vdrives (sacred to) i just keep oil in them and they work.
