bending stainless rail

little off topic, but scavenged some used rail, need to bend it just a bit. Would a conduit bender work? Seems like it should, otherwise was looking at making a rig out of wood, but like I said, it "seems" like the conduit bender should work.
 
That what my welder uses for his stainless and aluminum "boat projects".

He'd caution you to "try it" with some scrap tube because each one is done a little different. (He's more worried about the cosmetic imperfections left by the 'cheapos'.)
