Engine mounting bolt order MERCR 470

Does it matter if instead of putting the stern mounting bolts in
Hex bolt head> Fender washer>spacer>double wound lock washer (as recommended)
my helper put them in
Hex bolt head>spacer >fender washer> double wound...

Is this okay? Please tell me I dont have to rent the realignement tool again:eek:
 
it must be as the manual specifies otherwise/original or you will have difficulty aligning the motor to gimbal bearing.......
 
Thanks Dr. Thats what I was thinking. But if I just slide it out and remount and tighten it down to a different torque, wont the engine sit lower and cause misalignment? I am curious why it matters and am thinking of just leaving it.
 
Dont look to short cut your mistake...........

Put it back together correctly and be done with it...................

It will come back to bite you!
