Hi , I just changed my manifolds and risers , the risers seem to be hot . also the temp is at 175 at idel the thermostat is 160 . its a ford 302 !

I have the boat hauler coming tuesday to put my boat in the water . help !

What is the condition of the raw water pump impeller, the thermostat and the thermostat housing?

Is your boat a closed or raw water system?

There is no info in your profile to know which state you are in.
If in salt water, and if raw water cooled, your stat is best if at/near 145* due to salt water crystallization.

Need more info!

Hi , my boat is raw water cooled and i have it in salt water . thank you for the info on the 145* stat .
