[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]Hey Guys,

I am looking for some information about the engine I have in my Buehler.

There is a Crusader Marine Engine Mode ( Boat Builder Series)l 170J and Serial Number TP1626 in it, but I am not sure if this is a Small Block Chevy.

Google turns up nothing, Crusader Marine, knows nothing.

Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction? I am looking for specs on this engine Is it a 350? How many horsepower etc?

Thanks for any help!

looks like a modified/overhauled sbc.

I'd be more worried about the auto flavored holley and the HEI distributor.

makomark,

Yes, I am pretty sure it is a SBC, but just what size (cubic inch), one is the question.

Everyhing is going to be gone through...Just one step at a time.

Thanks for your input!

??? don't know

you can find out when you take it apart.

you can also get the casting numbers off the block (they are GM's) and use any of the hot rod www sites to ID the block using them.
