I have a 98 225 vindicator. Took boat out today and first time I took off, motor powered up and ran fantastic. No problems or issues.
Went to make my second run w/ motor from my first fishing spot, and motor won't get boat up on plane. It will eventually, but not until after my fishing partner went to bow of boat and it got me up on pad. Motor won't rev like the exhaust isn't getting out of prop, or like I'm turning too big of a prop to get on pad.
Then once up and running, boat runs good..... No problems once on pad. No issues with top end.
Then when loading on trailer, it won't push boat all the way on trailer. It doesn't have the power. I usually can drive boat all the way onto trailer. Today, I had to winch it on.
To make matters worse, I have a pre-paid bass tournament this sat. My biggest of year....I need help and need it asap.
