'1969 fastwin speed prop?

Hey guys I'm looking to boost the performance of my grandpas 1969 starcraft and was thinking about maybe adding a speed prop to it? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks.

If anyone is goig to suggest anything, they'll need the size of the boat, a general description of the boat (flat bottom, deep V, whatever), the make and size of the engine (model number), the size prop you are now using (diameter/pitch), and the present tachometer reading while at full throttle.

It is a 1969 starcraft shallow v (not sure if that's what you call it) it has a Fastwin 18 on it, don't have the model number and my current prop is about 7 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch drive shaft, I'm pretty sure its factory pitch. The boat never has a tach and I have never tried to measure it. Thanks
