Just an FYI...... (and quite honestly you have a lot of margin on the 4 cylinder points ignition)....... but contact "gap" is an estimate only of proper dwell.
If you will borrow, steal or purchase a dwell meter, you can set these correctly by setting dwell angle.
Volvo Penta refers to this as "Cam Angle"...... but this is basically a dwell of 62* +/- 3* for your engine.
Be sure to re-set initial timing
and check TA! (I just happen to know that the TA for the AQ125 is 36* btdc @ 4.2k rpm.)
BTW.... if you see the OEM specs, the
"70 r/s" means 70 revolutions per second...... Kind of funny how the Swede's list this.
(do the math, and you get 4,200 rpm)
