Corroded mount frame on 1999 Bf50A

I just received a new mount frame part number 50100-ZV5-000ZA for my 1999 Bf50A. Original part has rusted severely. Will my new part corrode just as fast or has Honda improved this parts corrosion resistance ?
 
Wow that is a big job.. Yes it will because honda would not make money if parts lasted forever.. Check your midsection and mount case also. I will never buy hondas due to the corrosion issues they have.
 
Since the new mount frame seems no different and just as likely to corrode,i have taken it to a metallization shop for a good zinc coating on all the exposed parts including inside the tube, followed by some epoxy paint as a sealer. Hopefully this will prevent it from rusting prematurely.
