If it sneezes when idling it to lean, if it is difficult to start and boggs down under acceleration its to rich. Adjust mixtures no more than half a turn at a time

By sneezing, do you mean backfire? Also what is a good place to start? 1and half turns?

Just took the boat out of a test run and I think that I'm having a fuel starvation problem. Had a mechanic tune it up a few weeks ago and everything ran fine. I took a buddy out today and took a bit of time to start the motor. Ran around in the harbor for an hour fishing varies spots. I was moving to another spot when the motor would try to die just above idle. Every time I tried to give it gas it would almost kill the motor. i would have to bring the throttle back. Any suggestions?
