Torque Specs - Intake & Heads?

Short head bolts are 65 lb-ft. Long head bolts are 75. Increments of 10 in sequence, basically inside to outside. Intake bolts are 30 in steps of 10. Again, middle to ends. Exhaust is 20, inside to out.
 
Locktite PST. A very good teflon laced, high temp (400 deg) thread sealant. Many of the 454 head bolts need to seal against coolant. Good practice is to chase all the 7/16 holes and clean (or replace) the bolts.
 
If PST isn't readily available, the permatex "thread sealant with teflon", aka #14, is a good second choice.
