I have a 1998 150hp. Last week motor starts fine, runs great, restarts multiple times. Great day fishing. With no warning when trying to start again, it will not turn over, no clicking, trim does not work, nothing. I have power to the livewell, lights, gauges, electronics, pumps. Switched batteries, nothing changes. After multiple attempts to start, again with no reason, it starts in gear and will not shift into neutral or reverse. While running back to the dock the gauges work then don't work. The tack and fuel gauge peg then read zero then work properly.
Both batteries show 12+ volts at the posts and at the ignition. Tell me what to look for.
