Motor Year?

I have a short shaft Mariner 25hp two stroke motor and am looking what year it is. I am trying to sell it. the serial number is 6635058.

Can anyone help? Is there any other info I can provide?

Looks to be a 1985 Mercury/Mariner - so just a 25 XD model Merc with Mariner paint/decals.

Parts are still very much available - in 1986 the model simply became the "25" and stayed pretty much mechanically identical well into the 2000's.

At this time of year (people itchin' to get on the water), if it's running well and cosmetically "pretty", depending on your location, I would expect this particular model to sell in the 700-1000 dollar range...
