OMC Adhesive M 1983 70 hp

I'm resealing the gearcase on an '83 Evinrude 70hp. The book calls for OMC Adhesive M. Is there an automotive (or other) substitute for this? Permatex #2? What about OMC Gasket Sealer...is there a substitute for this also?

Great, thanks. I can find both of these fairly easily. One more question...is there something special about this "OMC Triple Guard Grease" they keep referring to? Or is this just any marine grade bearing grease. Thanks again, jwbmarine.

omc's trp g grease,is great stuff...proclaimed to be super water proof...a good marine grease,and even an 'extreme press' grease wks great.
