I have a 2002 Yamaha TRP 150 VMAX with 3 cylinders not receiving spark on different sides of the engine.
Here is my problem I’m 200 miles way from the broken engine so I have to drive 200 miles to work on the engine. Once I’m working on the engine I’m a 100 miles away from a good boat parts store. I also can’t find my manual
I have two engines I can use parts for.
I have a blown 1997 v-max 150 with all good electrical parts. I know the CDI is different on the 1997 but can I use the stator and coils off the 1997 v-max 150 HP for the 2002 150 HP VMAX
I also have a working 2002 200 HP HPDI long shafted engine, are the electrical parts from the 200 HP HPDI interchangeable with the 150 HP VMAX TRP?
