Biodiesel and Ford Lehman Engines

Our marina is going to be using Biodiesel. Are there any concerns with respect to biodiesel sitting the fuel tanks for too long? Any concernes with gaskets and fuellines being compromised?
 
Biodiesel has a solvent action that will strip everything thing from the sides/bottom of tank and run thru the fuel system. Keep extra fuel filters handy, use a good stabilizer like PRI-D or FPPF. Life span will definitely be shorter and present challenges. I'd avoid if at all possible.
 
Petrobob, my experience with biofuels does not agree with your assessment. Several years of running WVO and Biodiesel in my Mercedes diesel have only resulted in a cleaner better running engine. What info are you basing your view on?
