Very smokey 2 Stroke

Hi, I recently bought a 3.5hp 2 stroke Tohatsu outboard, which is in more or less new condition. It has only been used once for about 10 minutes, and was then stored for about 2 years. The motor starts and runs fine, but puts out alot of grey/blue smoke. I have drained and changed the fuel etc, but it still smokes even at idle. I have read about doing a decarb, but i'm not sure if it's needed as it's had very little use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Neil.

I'm no expert but i'll take a stab at it.
I have noticed that when I fire up a motor that has sat for a year or two it smokes pretty good
untill it has run for a while.
Mix up some new fuel with the proper gas/oil
mix and let it run for a while.
As far as a " Decarb" a motor with only 10 minutes doesn't need it. It is a process to remove carbon from the combustion chamber.

Get that motor on a boat and have some fun!

Good Luck
