150 3/4 to Wide open Nothing

My 150 running 3/4 to wide open there is no speed change or RPM any ideas why? Is there a rev limiter? Running 19 p Prop and wide open 5400 rpms
 
My 2 stroke Vmax has rev limiter at 6200.Should run between 5800 and 6000rpm WOT.Don't know what engine or boat you have but it sounds like you may be over proped.
