Yahama 2006 150 hp stalls when put in gear

I have a 2006 150 hp that stalls evertime it is put under a load. It runs good when connected to the water hose, but when it is put in the water, it dies when put in gear. I have twin engines and the other one runs fine, so I don't think it is a dirty fuel problem.
Anyone having or had similar problems?

Is it carbs, or efi? If t is carbs, then they are stopped up. A good cleaning should fix the problem.
