I just brought a used chevy block volvo aq260a eng last winter. The eng ran for about 4mins on a pallet without the water pump impeller,ideled nicely. Im looking to put this eng into my '86 Bayliner Trophy. The eng could use some dressing up and a new fresh coat of paint,valve covers etc. Is there a decent aftermarket parts site or shop to get my eng in tip top shape without going broke before the season starts? Im a do-it-yourselfer and just need to be directed to a good source. Thanks

You ran the engine 4 minutes without water????
You might need a bit more than just spray paint and 'dressing up' after such an exercise!
 
Assuming the engine is in good condition, you just need to buy Chevy 350 (pre-1985) parts. Any car parts store should be able to source them for you.
