Temp gauge 1998 150 hp xr6

"I have a mercury 150 XR6 1998 and I would like to put a temp gauge on it and was wondering if anybody knows if this is possible? I know that I have the warning buzzer and a water pressure gauge, but I would like to have the temp also.

"Easy, the sender and wiring is already on the motor. You need a I/O water temp gauge. The tan wire bullet plug is near the tach wiring. Not the tan blue."

thank you. does any one happen to know where I can get a gauge that is black and red to match the other gauges in my boat. bass pro and cabelas doesn't offer one? Thanks again
 
Teleflex had a line of black w

Teleflex had a line of black with red markings - I can't remember the (style name) off the top of my head.

Try a websearch for Teleflex Gauges....
