i have a 25 hp evinrude that has been sitting in my dads basement for quite some time. can anyone please tell me the year and any other info for this motor?? mod: F25F1CID ser: F0306206 THANX

"thanx for the replys guys!!! i just went out and checked the model # again...they stamped the numbers so that the very bottom of the numbers/letters are on the border of the "silver and black"... i'll try this again...E25ELCID the 25 and the CID appear to be accurate...thanx, scott"

hey callum... yes you were right... it is an 81. i just reposted what i thought were the correct #'s ....only to show i screwed up. i'm still convinced though that the last letter is a D not B THANX TO ALL!!!
