Power trim leaking oil

I have two DF115's that ar

I have two DF115's that are now leaking oil out of the cylinders that move the motors up and down. The oil is slowly seeping out of where the top of the cylinder(there is a cover at the top that has four screws attaching it the the bottom of the cylinder). Its leaking between that cover plate and the base of the cylinder. Is their a gasket or seal right there that could have gone bad? Is this a big repair or is it something that can be done with out taking to a dealer?

"Not impossible to repair but it can be a pain. If you contaminate the fluid the unit could have serious problems. Look up the model on Browns Point Marine web site. Tilt motor parts are tricky. Many times they don't sell just an o-ring or seal, you have to buy a whole sub-assembly. You must look at the parts breakdown with pricing to figure out what is available."
