    Default I have a 1988 24ft. sea ray so

    I have a 1988 24ft. sea ray sorrentoI know they way 1.75kg with a mercruiser engine but mine has a heavier volvo penta kad 43 diesel 230hp and is more torqueier.What would the best aluminum props be for my leg?

    I think that the B5 is to small for your boat, your engine should go up to 3900rpm on full trottle, but I think you will easy reach 4000rpm with B5, depending on how easy you reach 3900, you should go for B6 or even bigger, to go from B5 to B6 reduces the RPM with app. 300prm.
    It is difficult to recomend, you must test, the sea whater temp is also of interest, if it is hot you will not get full power out of your engine, and then B5 can be OK, it is important that the rpm reaches minimum 3700 on full trottle, but not over 3900."
