Check your neutral lock out sw

Check your neutral lock out switch inside your remote control box. More than likely that switch is bad.

its 35hp and it will not shift

"thats what i was gonna tell u,if it is elect start.. u can see a diagram at shop.evinrude.com and the usual prob is loose safety switch,or broken,..or loose shifter parts."
