one cylinder has only 30 lbs.

one cylinder has only 30 lbs. what is the best way of a non machanic to tell if it is rings or bad cylinder. If the cylinder is lightly scared what is the cheapest fix. don't have 2800 to rebuild motor.

"pull the head and take a look,..my guess,either a blown hd gasket,..or rings spattered all over the place."
