"Never had a problem with this. I was tinkering around doing a spring pre-tune and had taken off the oil tank to check out the inline fuel filter. As I was putting back the oil tank I noticed a wire connection was not hooked up near the tank so I reconnected it.

When I go to start the motor I get beeping indicateing an oil problem. Did I cause some air into the system when I pulled the tank off to the side. It was laying over nearly on its side. Maybe I will try to bleed it, bad sensor? Not really sure what to do? Any thoughts."

"Are you the original owner?

"Are you the original owner?

If not it sounds like it has a bad oil sensor that was disconnected.

The sensor itself only tells you if you have oil in the tank, not if the system is working properly.

In my opinion, that makes it "not worth the cost of fixing" if the sensor goes bad..."
