"what kind of hydraulic fluid I should use on the tilt pump. Is the Mericruiser type fluid acceptable? Or is it better to buy Volvo Penta fluid and what kind of hydraulic fluid the stabs use?

"As per the VP manual, you can

"As per the VP manual, you can use Volvo Penta Power Trim/Tilt and Steering Fluid, or Dexron Automatic Transmission Fluid.

The Bennet trim tabs use ATF as well. Don't know what you have installed, though."
