Is the 2002 an aluminum engine

Thanks Doug. I couldn't find that info in the Owners Manual. I'm having trouble draining the anti-freeze. I saw an article in Sail Magazine that noted green colored antifreeze would cause corrosion in alum. engine blocks. Thought that might be it. Must be a lot of gunk in the bottom of the water jacket.

The 2002 has two places you can drain coolant from 1, behind the starter motor take the fitting completely out of the block not just the valve centre as than can cause the blockage; 2,a plug behind the alternator.
