"I am considering changing my 1974 25hp Johnson manual start to electric start, since both my shoulders are in bad shape. Where would be the best place to buy the parts?"

I made this same conversion on

I made this same conversion on my 30hp Johnson and am so glad I did . I went to U.S. boat in Kansas City Kansas and they looked up the bracket # and starter # . I purchased both from them used for $125. I got a solenoid and starter button from the Auto parts store. Did the whole conversion for about $160 less battery. This is an easy conversion.

Hi,

I'd get the basic parts from off Ebay as some previous comments suggested.

I'd def compare the parts and the prices to get the best deal possible.

Though, if this could also be an option you might consider; Dubai Yachts
