Yamaha 70hp Model Details required

Im new.. im from South Africa, and i raced Yamaha outboards for a very long time..

Reason for my post:

in the 90's I knew of guys racing the 850cc Yamaha 3cyl 70hp outboard with a 15' shaft. It even had a red 70hp badge on the cowling.

I want to put one of these on my zapcat. there were a few guys that did this and to results were scary


I need to know if they still make the short shaft 70 and what the model number is.

Yami just reintroduced the 70 horse to this years line-up, but it is a 4 cylinder 4 stroke, 996cc's and only available in a long shaft (20").

In the two stroke line-up (not including the 2 direct inject models) you have the 90 (3 cyl/1140cc) and the 50 (3 cyl/698cc) but neither in a short shaft.

Can only get a short shaft in 25 horse and below."
