i just found a gas leak under

i just found a gas leak under one of my carbs what I believe it's under the rod that connects the three throttle plates together
what is the best way to find exactly were it's leakg?
is there an o ring on the connecting rod?
can I spray it with brake cleaneror carb cleaner
so it would be easer to find.
could the fuel rail be leaking?
fuel line leaking that I can't see
don't to take it off until I have an idea off where its leaking
is it a hard job take carb assemblys of and have them rebuilt or do it my self?

six carbs one throttle body
what should i do boat runs great

take the throttle bodys of have and them rebuilt
replace all hoses an o rings
try and find exactly were the leak is?

any help would be appreciated
thanks Greg

"By gas leak, do you mean you

"By gas leak, do you mean you see fuel dripping? If so, that wouldn't be caused by the O-ring between the carbs and butterfly assy. More likely a cracked fitting, bad bowl gasket, bad fuel line, broken strap, etc. Two systems too. Fuel to carbs, fuel to primers. Pump up primer to carbs. If that makes it leak, it is probably in carb circuit. If not, try primer (push key in) If that makes it leak, it is in the primer circuit. You will need to remove the air silencer to see anything, and you will probably need an inspection mirror too."

yes it would be a drip i wipe

yes it would be a drip i wipe it with a finger and it's back soon after i wipe it
can't really tell where it's coming from but i'll look
can i spray carb or brake cleaner around the area to clean it all up then start looking for the leak?
