"I know this kind of a loaded question, but I've looked on line, and have tried different calculators, but am still trying to figure out my best prop. I have a 1968 25' Luhrs, 24' WLL, powered with a 440 thru a 1.5 v-drive. A guy at a prop shop told me I should go with a 16x16 cupped, but it would cost about $250 to get a prop worked to fit that perameter. I'm trying to buy one on ebay that would save me the money of re-working it, but I don't like throughing darts in a dark room, so to speak. Would a 17" prop be better than a 16' prop?"
