Replacing seals in lower unit 1956 30 hp johnson

"I paid a mechanic to put new seals in lower unit but when I put in water it leaked bad, he never replaced any of them.
So I took it apart it was leaking around gear shift oring I got it out and it had not been replaced either. but I dont know how to get the one off on the propshaft and the one under water pump. I tryed the other day to get one out of the bushing on propshaft and couldnt. can anyone help."

"alot of the prop shft sealsfor those eng's,,r sold w/the bushing assm...as well as i rem,that is over 100.00 i think...looked it up prob 6 mos ago.under wtr pump,should just pry out,...shft o ring,u use a spec tool,rod/punch,knock out the bushing retainer,and re-inst w /new o ring.."
