"I have a 1991 pro 60 2 stroke, it idles rough and does not accelerate well. It eventually will get up to wot. compression in good 115-120 on all 3 cylinders. spark is great, brand new fuel pump, there are no missing reed pedals, the fuel enrichener is working properly, carbs are clean. connected auxillary fuel tank, made no difference. engine will run with # 2 and 3 plug wires off but will not run with #1 off, pretty much the engine is only running @ idle on #1 cyl. I screwed the idle mixture screws in on # 2 and 3 which had no effect on the engine. At idle i spray starting fluid in the the cylinders #1 dies no effect on 2 or 3. @ wot all the cylinders bog down when hit with starting fluid.
noticed excessive oil in the water and smokes alot more then normal. any ideas would be appreciated"
