Hi everybody.. how do you install R.S. rec. to reduce charge volts going to batt. on 1987 90hp 3 cyl merc????

What exactly are you trying to

What exactly are you trying to do? A rectifier converts AC to DC to charge the battery. It isn't a regulator.

Hi IBN i read on this site. that if your batt over chargeage R S rec would drop charge volts... mine charges 16+ volts .I thought it might be acheap fix

A rectifier won't do a thing. You need a voltage regulator of some kind. Late model OBs use them.
