my motor is wearing out the st

my motor is wearing out the stard gear quick in my opinion.i have replaced it once and it is wearing out again. i use this motor a lot. but i have an evinrude that this part has never wore out on.

is there something wrong?

sounds like it is not adjusted

how do you adjust it? there ar

how do you adjust it? there are no wshers or slots in the motor. the bolts go in from the top of the motor.

i have the owners manual. but

i have the owners manual. but it doesnt have anything about adjusting the starter?

cant you just tell me how?

u have 2 bolts up there on the

u have 2 bolts up there on the starter
loosen those and u might be able to adjust
i only have the 2 stroke book

does there have to be a slotte

does there have to be a slotted hole for the 3rd bolt to go through down on the bottom of the starter?
