Tilt motor runs but will not r

Tilt motor runs but will not raise or lower engine. Engine will lower by gravity.
Plenty of fluid.
Help!

No fluid outside plenty inside.
In order to raise mecanically I have to open
the fill cap and allow fluid too spill out.

do u have the relay or solenoid system

they make rebuild kits, and i just looked them up, u can replace the valves very easily"

"91 Force 90 HP-Trim unit is relay type and will go up or down as relays are switched, however, will not go up and down after replacing the one thought to be defectived. Have switched new and two old in all positions, however does not solve problem.
Have also tested voltage output of both, which is 12.5 volts on both relay outputs.

"I checked the electrical, alls well.
I tore down the pump and found the lift passage was blocked.It seems the end piece of the relief valve and o-ring broke off and jamed the passege.
I drove the piece out and that cleared it.
Ive ordered a knew valve.
Hopefully that will fix it. thanks for all the help Just-In-Time and the web page."
