I need to replace the water pu
I need to replace the water pump on my Johnson CD-11. I tried taking the lower end off the motor (4 bolts) and the bottom portion did come down about 1 inch. However there was a linkage rod for the forward and reverse shift lever that was attached that would not allow the bottom portion to come off to get at water pump.
I am looking for some direction on how to get to the water pump. Any input on how to do this job would be helpful.
