"'99 is CDM. Not T-Bolt. If you burnt up any yellow wiring, than the stator and the rec/reg is probably bad. So is the battery, I'll bet."

"After conducting tests on the stator, according to the repair manual it appears to be bad. And yes the rec/reg as well. Do I need the flywheel removel tool specified in the manual or are there other options? Thanks for your help."

"Ok, replaced stator and reg/rec. Engine cranked up but is running very rough and unable to increase rpm's without stalling. Reverified connections and placement of components. Maybe also have a bad coil, but wouldn't engine still run on 3 cyls? Any thoughts? Thanks."
